Master of Ceremonies Carolina Tarazona

Carolina Tarazona moved to United States from Valencia, Spain with her family when she was 4-years-old. She grew up in Miami with her parents and older sister. She graduated from Florida International University with a degree in broadcasting and communications, and made her dreams come true in 2001 when she moved to the “Big Apple” from sunny Miami, to pursue her dream.

Ms. Tarazona joined the ABC Eyewitness News team in November of 2004. She came to ABC from WXTV, Univision 41, the Spanish-speaking station in the tri-state area, where she worked as a general assignment reporter. Before Univision 41, Ms. Tarazona was a reporter for News 12 the Bronx, and before that she worked as a reporter and producer for News 12 Westchester.

Ms. Tarazona volunteers as a part-time instructor at Bronxnet, a non-profit television station, helping young people attain career training in the communications field. She is passionate about reading, music, and the arts. She currently lives in Manhattan.
