Elizabeth Espinosa

Elizabeth Espinosa is a general assignment reporter for FOX 11 News. She also serves as weather anchor on KTTV FOX 11's "Good Day LA Weekend."

Ms. Espinosa was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is no stranger to reporting in Los Angeles; she joined Fox 11 KTTV from Univision's flagship station, KMEX 34. At Univision, she worked as a general assignment reporter responsible for spot, feature, and investigative pieces.

Prior to KMEX, Ms. Espinosa was reporting and anchoring for XETV 6, the San Diego Fox affiliate. She was part of the news team that launched a three-hour morning show and mid-day newscast. Aside from producing and enterprising investigative stories, she also hosted a weekly movie review segment on the "Fox Morning Show".

Ms. Espinosa spent part of her career in the Bay Area working as a television news reporter for Telemundo's O&O San Francisco/San Jose/Oakland affiliate. Fortunately for her, she was able to begin her career in broadcast journalism here in Los Angeles. In 1998, Elizabeth was hired as assignment desk editor at another station in Los Angeles, KVEA 52 Telemundo. Following that assignment, she was promoted to a position as the West Coast producer for "Ocurrio Asi," an international news magazine show.

Elizabeth is multi-lingual; she speaks Spanish, French, Italian and ASL (American Sign Language). She graduated from UCLA in 1997 with her Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations, and was later accepted to USF Law School and offered a scholarship.
