AILF Salutes Indian Americans

Indians in America have emerged as one of the most dynamic immigrant communities in American society today.

The tremendous intellectual, business, political, and social contributions of Indian Americans have forever etched their place in the American mosaic. Although their migration was once thwarted by restrictive regulations, now, after years of stuggle, Indian Americans are finally being recognized for their lucrative talents and entrepreneurial spirit.

From creating Hotmail to winning the Nobel Peace Prize, certainly this group's existance in America has been dotted by success. This year's American Heritage Project highlights the repertoire of achievements and benefits Indian Americans bring to America.
