Dr. Keh-Shew Lu is the senior Vice President of Texas Instruments responsible for worldwide mixed signal products. Mixed-signal products are the bridge between real-world analogue signals and artificial-computer digital signals so that they communicate with each other. His work is at the very heart of high tech development. Dr. Keh-Shew Lu speaks for Texas Instruments when he says that money and equipment are not the keys to their success: human capital gives them their competitive edge. People: Innovative people; People who create jobs and produce synergies that keep our country strong. People like Dr Lu, who came from Taiwan on scholarship to study for his Masters Degree and earned a PhD from Texas Tech in 1977. Since the 1970s, Dr. Lu has worked for Texas Instruments, in a variety of positions and from 1994-1998 he was President of Texas Instruments, Asia, when he returned to his native Taiwan to head up TI activities in Asia. He has garnered many awards and has been recognized for his exceptional work in this field, including the Texas Tech distinguished engineer award and the national Asian American Corporate Achievement Award from the Organization of Chinese Americans.
